Global Services Coalition Joint Letter to G-20 Leaders:
March 12, 2009:
In our November 3, 2008 joint letter, the Global Services Coalition was among the first to urge that G-20 leaders adopt a forceful commitment to refrain from imposing new trade barriers and other restrictions on market access in services and other sectors and to resume the Doha Round of trade negotiations. We were gratified that leaders responded with a pledge to do so, albeit for a period limited to 12 months. For more, click here.

February 27, 2009: In a new letter CSI, along with the National Association of Manufacturers and the American Farm Bureau Federation, calls for a new course in the Doha Round. For a copy of the letter, click here.

January 22, 2009: CSI and 14 other leading business associations have sent a joint letter to the House and Senate leadership expressing opposition to "Buy America" proposals that are being considered in the context of the stimulus package.  For a copy of the letter, click here.
